Kyle Boyce, Preteen Director

Growing up in the beautiful city of Huntington Beach, I heard about Jesus a lot from an early age. However, I never fully grasped what the Gospel was and what it meant for my life until around my senior year of high school. It was during this time that I realized what it meant to truly surrender your life to Christ and make Him the Lord over it. Following this, I decided to attend California Baptist University and move to Riverside. It was here that I continued to grow alongside some amazing friends and had mentors who helped to deepen my faith. This was also where I met my fiancé, who convinced me to try out The Grove. I instantly fell in love with the Christ-centered community here, which made me feel so welcomed and encouraged. I am truly blessed to say that this place has not only become the place where I am able to work and serve the Lord, but also a home. God has already done many wonderful things in my life and in this church, and I cannot wait to see what He does next!

Some fun facts: I love the Angels and 49ers but am the world’s biggest Clippers fan. I also minored in American Sign Language in college.

My prayer for The Grove is that it will remain a church founded on and dedicated to biblical truth and spreading the Gospel to as many people as possible. I also pray that it will be a place where anyone can come to feel loved, cared for, and known.
