Conner Smith, Chaplaincy Pastor

I came to know the Lord in high school while visiting my mom during a spring break shortly after she had become a Christian herself. A pastor at the church she had just started attending invited me to spend an afternoon with him, and I asked him questions I'd had for quite a while. He explained the Gospel to me, and I repented of my sin and placed my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I was baptized a few weeks later after I went back to my dad's house at a little church I started going to on my own in North Carolina. 

Fun fact about me: My wife and I met on eHarmony and were in a nationally televised commercial for them back in 2016. 

I pray that as The Grove continues to grow, it would remain anchored in the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3) and that the people filling the seats would not simply have an initial encounter with God, but would grow in their knowledge of the triune God and would thereby love and serve and share Him with others more intentionally.
