To my Grove family,

Weekend Message

This weekend we will continue on with our series “Follow the Leader” and my message is titled, “Be careful what you wish for” from 1st Samuel chapters 8-9.  If you will read those two chapters you will be ready for this weekend.  Special thanks to Pastor Joe Hobbs for his wonderful “outreach” message last weekend. After his message we should all be very clear where we are and where we are headed in the future in outreach.  Joe did a wonderful job showing us how blessed we are in outreach and where we need to go in the future.  I heard from so many of you how blessed you were with the weekend. Thanks, Joe!

Pastor Roy Ronveaux

Just a short note to let you know that Pastor Roy Ronveaux has decided to retire from ministry for health reasons effective May 15, 2012.  Roy has ministered at The Grove part and full-time for 28 years and made a difference in the lives of thousands of people over that time.  God has used him to bring encouragement, comfort and healing to people both inside and outside the church.  Roy’s ministry has been multiplied through each of the many counselors that have trained under him.  His impact has been significant to all of us. This weekend  we will be honoring Roy and Gail during our regular services.  The services are on Saturday at 5 p.m., Sunday at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.  You will have a chance to greet them and enjoy some cookies on The Hub patio after each service.  We are grateful that Roy and Gail will continue to be part of our church family in the future.

Youth Auction

Mark this event on your calendars! On the weekend of June 9th and 10th, the High School and Jr. High departments will be hosting a silent auction, and all proceeds go towards scholarships for our students at The Grove to attend summer camp. Many great items will be up for bid this year, and we receive many donations from large businesses in our area. But we also need your help! If you have a package, tickets, valuable item, or service that you would like to donate to the cause, please contact Kelsey at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
