. . . Mother of Pre Schoolers
Our theme this year is Plunge: Love as If Your Life Depended on It.
1 Peter 4:8-11, Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God's words; if help, let it be God's hearty help. That way, God's bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he'll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes!
Plunge: The emphasis of MOPS this year is on relationships and hope, through the support needed to survive in a world of constant change. Taking the plunge in relationships is being authentic, going deeper, and taking risks to create authentic community. All facets of relationships need authentic love – neighborhoods, friendships, marriages, extended families, the world around us and ultimately our relationship with God.
MOPS is a unique program for mothers and their young children, infants through preschool age. The MOPS format includes regular group meetings with topics relating to womanhood, marriage, child rearing and relationships within the family. Small group discussions provide for honest sharing, deepening friendships and spiritual enrichment. A table leader facilitates the discussion with the help of the seasoned mom.
While mothers attend their meeting, their children are enjoying a program especially designed to meet their needs and age (infants to preschool).
Cost is $70 per semester for Mom and $40 per child. To register or for more information contact Sarah Lambert or Jenny Holmberg at
